Questions & Answers
Q: How much weight can the posture stand hold?
A: Our Posture Stand can hold up to 110 lbs
Q: I am 6”0 tall. Is it suitable for someone my height to use while standing up? As I am not sure how long the legs are.
A. The stand can go up to 2ft high whilst being used as a standing desk so dependent on how high your table is, I would think this is more than suitable for your use while standing.
Q: I am interested in using it while sitting on the couch. What are the dimensions of the legs?
A. The Posture Stand is 22.5 inches (56cm) wide (including the width of the legs) with the legs measuring half inch in width and 12" each in length. At its lowest the stand is less than 2 inches high and at its highest is 22 inches high. The space in between the two legs is 19.8 inches, when in the upright position, and 18.5 inches with the two inner legs almost completely in the 'down' position.
Q: What is the max height if I want to use it as a standing desk on a desk?
A. The Posture Stand can be raised to 22 inches high in the 'standing desk' position (at the front of the tray). With the tray at a 60 degree angle, the back of the stand will be 28 inches.
Q: Will my 17 inch Dell laptop fit this with no problems?
A. Yes. We have a 17" laptop we use at the office, and there is at least an inch of space on each side. You should have no issues with your laptop on this stand!
Q: Can the mouse stand be positioned for left handers?
A. Yes, our posture stands include a mouse stand and it can be positioned on either side of the stand. To place the mouse stand on the stand you will need to unscrew the knob all the way out. Then take out the small plastic piece in between the bracket. Place the mouse stand on the right side or left side depending on where you want it positioned. Snap back in the plastic piece, it will snap into place. Then put the screw back in to secure. It will then tilt to whatever position you would like.
Q: Does this contain plastic parts?
A. Our Posture stand contains Aluminum parts and Zinc alloy joints making it one of the sturdiest and most durable laptop stands on the market. The only plastic piece is the mouse stand that comes with it.
Q. I want to place it on top of my desk so I can work standing up. I have a glass desk. Is the posture stand suitable for going on glass desk i.e. does it have protective legs?
A: The Posture Stand is suitable for a glass table however it does not have any protective legs. We have however used it on a glass table in the office for a while and with regular use there should not be any damage caused.
